The mission brief


For our mission we are going to repair the I.S.H. space satellite the leader of this mission is no other than me Ryan Wilson. My crew are sargent Owen, comander Ben, programer John and last but not least navagater Marcus.

We are N.A.S.A.'s best chance of reparing the satellite. If we can't compleat this mission the I.S.H. school in Hilversun will be shut down forever but worst of all me and my team will be FIRED.

The launch


I woke up this morning feeling sore all over from my training but I knew I would be going into space. I was so exited that I woke my team up at 04:30. They were so tired that there eye lids were half closed but when I reminded them that we would be going up in 2 hours lets gust say they weren't tired any more.

We were putting on our space suits it takes round about half an hour to get them on. Because we are fixing a satellite our suits are orange like tangerines. When we were all ready we walked out to our space ship and lots of people were shouting our names especially mine. Now we were all buckled up and leaving in ten seconds 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 blast of. We went flying through the air at the speed of light before I new it we were out of the atmosphere.

My daily life


We have now reached the I. S. H. space satellite and there are lots of problems with it but I'm sure me and my team will be able to fix it. We will be up there for probably one day. Half of it we will be working and the other half is free time in our free time we mostly read, exercise, play games and just look out the window. Right now it is about one o'clock so we are probably going back to Earth at noon tomorrow. What we need to fix is one of the solar panels, the navigational controls and the inelegance scanner.

An hour later we started to get working on the satellite. The first thing we did was repair the solar panel it took us 40 minits to do that. Next Marcus focused on the navigational controls it took him 4 hours with our help and last we all fixed the inelegance scanner that one was the hardest it took us 5 and a half hours. We finished at 22:40 so we just went to bed. In the morning we all got out of our bed they look like sleeping bags attached to the wall. till noon we could do what ever we wanted. Me and Sargent Owen played snakes and ladders, navigator Marcus and programmer John read books and commander Ben was to lazy to do any thing so I gave him a job to lay the table for lunch but he refused. Now that we had done our job we could go home so we hopped in our space ship and woosh we were away.

the return back


We were along way from Earth but at the speed we were going it only took us about 8 minits. If we weren't strapped in we would be bashed and bruised all over in places you couldn't imagine. When we were coming into the atmosphere our space ship was as hot at hell. we had to make a sharp turn to get level with the runway then we pulled out the wheels and landed.



When we walked out of the space shuttle the whole of N.A.S.A. and the families of my team and me were cheering us on. Our mission was complete and the I.S.H. scool in Hilversum was saved so now all could go back to normal.
